La Chispa offers Argentine tango beginner classes in Amsterdam, an introduction for absolute beginners to discover tango.

No partner needed. You’ll meet people — and might make new friends . Come open, come curious.

At its heart, Argentine tango is about a few simple things: the famous embrace, connecting with your partner, improvising together to the music, sharing the floor with others, and learning the secret codes

You'll learn how to walk, turn, hold, listen to the music attentively and dance to it together — rather than simply memorising choreography and learning steps. The classes are practical, slow and thorough. We repeat, vary and build on what you've learned, giving you the time to actually feel how tango works. In the end, it is all about the music; it was written for you, the dancer.
